Dealing with E-Commerce Websites Safely

Earlier days, We were making visit to big shopping malls, small shops to buy good quality products. Such as buying shoes, dresses, buying laptops, computers, smartphones, and food items. But now it is not like that, We can buy anything in any where around the world using your personal iPad,iPhone,Laptops, and desktop computers. We just need to do a simple visit to a particular e-commerce website, and need to select the products from the list and need to enter the credit card numbers only. Within a particular period of time the shop owners will ship the items to your doors. What do you think? , Is it more Easy? Yes It is.........more easy.

Not only shopping, we can even book online traveling tickets, and can make online room reservation in any hotel rooms, can buy tickets online to watch new movies. So this kind of e-commerce websites have changed our lifestyle totally. Before, we went buy a mobile phone, ipad, iphone or smartphone to a shop, but now we can find the best mobile or smartphone selling shops in online. Even though, those mobiles are not released in our  country, we can order it with the help of e-commerce websites. Because of the e-commerce websites we have got more choices, and more options to buy a particular thing.

But there are some problems with e-commerce websites. because, we can't trust all the online e-commerce websites. There are some websites, which sell the low quality product like high quality products. Until we get the items which we have sold from those websites, we will think that they are providing the quality products.

Most of the time this kind of situation is happening in buying original MP3 songs, Movies, and some devices like iphones, ipads. because, some companies have made low quality products which gives similar look like original products for low cost. Some time website owners may sell the pirated DVDs, MP3 songs, MP4 songs. So we have to find the best e-commerce websites to get away from this problems.

Whenever we go to buy products online, we have to check the e-commerce website, whether it is fake or trustworthy website. We can find that by looking or reading the 'About' page, 'Privacy' page of that websites and by searching in search engines, and some site advising websites.

Always you have to go for the old e-commerce websites to buy the things, not new websites. You have to check the website address at least 3 times to do purchase. Because, Credit card stealer may buy the domain/website address which is similar to the original website domain/ website address, only few letters will be the difference between the original and fake website addresses. They will host a fake system with same interface in those fake domains to steal our Credit card information. So, we have to check the URL every time.

Anonymous persons' New Way to reduce your blog's or Website's traffic

Owners of blogs or websites, Please be alert.

There is a new threat for the blogs. Some blogs' owners are trying to get our blog's visitors to their blogs by making irrelevant comments for our blog's posts using anonymous Google plus accounts,which[Those Comments] are the keywords to find their blogs in the search engine's search result related to our blogs.

For an example:

You have posted a post regarding buying a mobile application, operating system, new dress, makeup sets, food, or booking rooms in hotel, finding the best hotel, finding the best restaurant, good supermarket, best food in your blog. You haven't activated "Comment Moderation" in Settings of your blog. So, What will happen is, When anonymous people make irrelevant comments for that post to get traffic to their blog or website, those comments will be posted without your permission under that post. So, Whenever your blog's visitors search something related to that particular post of your blog in Google search engine. It will list your blog's post in that search result but, at the same time, it will list theirs blog (anonymous people's blog). You might not know the contents of their blog or website until you check them. So this activity might brings bad name for your blog or your blog might lose the traffic.

So you have to be aware of this anonymous people and their irrelevant comments.

I got doubt about above comment made by Broad Paul [Identified as Anonymous]  because it is irrelevant for "Deadlinks in It is all about Safety in IT blogspot blog" post, and that post is being visited by more visitors because that is the default post to redirect my blog's visitor's to my blog's homepage when they have made visit to dead links of my blog. So that anonymous person has tried to get use of it to get traffic to their blog. But i didn't allowed it.

Please don't visit the following blog.

I searched in google using the above comment to find out which blog is getting traffic from this kind of work.Finally i found it. That is Affiliate Marketing Tune Up blogspot blog. Search result leads me to the particular post of that blog.

• Go to your blogspot dashboard
• Select your blog
• go to setting of that blog
• find out "Post and Comments"
• find out Comment
• find out "Comment Moderation"
• Select "Always"
• Click on "Save Settings"

After saving the setting, whenever any one make comment to your blog's post it won't post under that post without your permission. If you feel that comment is irrelevant then your can remove it.

you can find similar setting options in your blog providers too. search to find it in search engines.

No, Not all the comments are like this, If you found a comment and, you feel it like irrelevant for your post then you must not publish that comment.Just delete it without second thought.

I am suspecting a program as a virus, what to do?

Oh no, what am i suppose to do? i am suspecting one of the downloaded executable file(*.exe) as a virus.
You may ask me, "how you are suspecting it as a virus program?"-very simple.

By checking the Icon of that executable file:
1.you may have seen that icon before in a good program.
2.uncommon/usual icon

By searching the company name in any search engines like google,bing,yahoo to confirm the accuracy of the information available in the properties of that executable file.

By checking the properties of that executable file, where you can find the information about the company or the person who has created that program.

By checking the name of that executable file.
virus integrated files may comes with very famous names like facebook.exe. So, if you feel, the name of that executable file is irrelevant for that program. For an example: you are downloading a program to convert the mp4 videos to avi or any new video formats but if the name of that program is like 'chatnow.exe' then  you must suspect it.

By checking the file size of that executable file. [Optional] but, please don't compare the size of the file because some time you may download a program which has integrated virus then this file size checking way is not good to use to identify the virus.

By checking the used language of that executable file.[Optional]
For an example: you are downloading an English version of  audio converting software but the descriptions and the title of that executable file are in different language. Then you must suspect it but not always because there are some software created by a group of people whose mother languages are not same. So it also optional.

By checking the above mentioned things, you can suspect a downloaded file as virus.

You may suggest me to scan the file with your installed antivirus program. But how do you ensure that your antivirus has the necessary details to detect it as a virus because that virus can be new to the world, and if you are not updated your antivirus virus database for long time then you can depend on its scan result.

You may ask me, then how?

Are you suspecting only the executable files (*.exe)? Please don't because viruses may come in different forms, and in different format. So you have the knowledge to suspect any files (even *.txt format files) if they are downloaded from unsafe websites, torrents..etc.

If you have ever met an incident like suspecting a file as virus then you have to check that file with your installed antivirus program first. If it says not harm, please don't believe. Connect your computer with internet.

Then find some websites like,

where you can submit your suspecting file to scan by many antivirus program for free. So if all the antivirus programs are saying no harm then no problem but ensure that all the antivirus programs listed in that sites are new version.

You can also use the official websites of antivirus programs to check your file with latest version of antivirus programs or their free online virus scan tools but in each official website you can scan only with their antivirus program.

"Beelden.zip" is it harmful to your computer?

Recently my download manager has shown me a message box to download "beelden.zip" file, when ever i try to watch a movie through zmovie website. I thought it might be containing  some adware programs but it doesn't contain any ad ware programs so be cool. [but don't download it]

You may ask me, "How do you certifying that?"

The above attached image will show you that, how i have verified that, it doesn't contain any ad ware programs. But you can't expect the same scenario every where. So be careful. It doesn't matter about what they contain. whenever you get automated download request came through your download manager/ from your browser's download manager in a particular/similar video streaming websites or any pirated software downloading sites or online games playing sites, just ignore them. Even though "beelden.zip" containing no executable files, there is a possibility to get infection from those pictures. Because there is a way called "binding method" it is used to combing one image with an executable file. So whenever if you try to open that image, it will open that image like opening the image file but at the same time it will trigger the execution of that hidden executable file. so be aware and ignore the automated download requests made by your download manager software/ your browser's download manager because of some scripts integrated in those website.

Don't blame or stop using that download manager/browser. It is not their fault. It is your fault. Actually that automated download request is triggered by the scripts of the websites you visit. so blame those websites.
